Who we are Cristina Arriaga Sanz
Degree in Music (Conservatorio Superior de Bilbao) and Information Sciences (University of the Basque Country). Doctor in Philosophy and Educational Sciences (University of the Basque Country) and Full Professor at the University in the Didactics of Musical, Plastic and Corporal Expression Area at the University of the Basque Country, where she has been working since 1998.
Her research activity has focused, on the one hand, on the motivation for learning music in primary school, mainly, in their relationship with the forms of action of the teaching staff and the interactions that occur during the educational practice of music. He has also researched the didactics of music at different educational levels and in teacher training, from a reflective, interdisciplinary and creative approach. Since 2013 it has been collaborating with Jaume I University of Castellón in experiences compromised with the social transformation and community action through the music. She is also coordinator of the Educational Counselling Service (SAE-HELAZ) of the University of the Basque Country in Bizkaia.
